Who we are
Opus Leads Ltd is the data controller for information you give us on Warm Homes Loan Guide.
What we collect and why
- Your answers to the check, email, postcode and optional first name: to show your result and email you a summary. Lawful basis: to provide the service you asked for.
- Lender news sign-ups: to email you when lenders go live or the rules change. Lawful basis: your consent, which you confirm by email and can withdraw at any time.
- Installer quote requests (your name, email, phone number, postcode, the upgrades you want quoted, and any notes you add): shared with installers certified by the Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS) who cover your postcode, only when you tick the box to allow it, so they can call or email you about a quote. Lawful basis: your consent.
- Trade and launch requests: to reply to you about our services. Lawful basis: legitimate interests.
- Anonymous usage events, such as which step of the check people reach. We don’t use advertising cookies or third-party trackers.
Cookies
We set a cookie to remember your unfinished check for 14 days, and one to remember your last result for 30 days. Both are needed for the service and stay on our site. Admin pages use a session cookie.
Who processes it for us
Our hosting provider, our database provider and our email delivery provider process data on our behalf under contract. We never share your details with lenders and we never sell them.
How long we keep it
Check answers and quote requests: up to 24 months. Lender news: until you unsubscribe. You can ask us to delete your data sooner.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, or object to how we use it, by replying to any email from us. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
